Annapaola Negri-Clementi

Annapaola Negri-Clementi has been an independent Director of Banca Monte dei Paschi since April 2023, where she is also Chairperson of the Related Party Transactions Committee and a member of the Remuneration Committee.
She graduated cum laude in Law from the University of Milan.
A barrister of the Supreme Court of Cassation, from 19945-2010 she worked at the Nctm Law firm in Milan, first as an associate and then as an equity partner. From 2011 to 2020 she founded and directed Studio Legale Associato Negri-Clementi. She is currently a partner of Studio Legale Pavesio e Associati with Negri-Clementi
She has a wide experience in the banking and financial sector.
She organises and participates as a speaker in conferences, workshops and round tables on corporate and corporate governance issues, as well as on art law. She is the author of numerous publications and articles with a particular focus on corporate governance issues.
She was an independent director of AEDES SIIQ S.p.A. from 2009 to 2018 and Deputy Chairperson from 2009 to 2012.
From 2012 to 2020, she was an independent Director of BNP Paribas Real Estate SGR, where she also served as Chairperson of the independent directors.
From 2020 to May 2023, she was a Director and member of the Related Parties Committee and Coordinator of the Supervisory Board (from 2022) of MPS Capital Services Banca per le Imprese S.p.A..
Since 2019, she has been a member of the Board of Directors of AET Italia SRL, a subsidiary of Azienda Elettrica Ticinese, and an independent Director and Chairperson of the Committee of Independent Directors of Restart S.p.A.
