Raffaele Di Raimo
Director pursuant to By-Laws (Consolidated Law on Finance and Corporate Governance Code)
Graduated in Law at the University of Rome “La Sapienza”. PhD at the University of Naples 'Federico II'.
Since A.Y. 2000-2001 he has been a Full Professor at the University of Salento.
He teaches European Private Law and Financial Market Law at the University of Salento. He taught Commercial Law, European Commercial Law and Corporate Law for several years at several Universities. From 2015 to 2018 he was Director of the ISUFI School of Advanced Studies.
He has been Scientific Manager of numerous research projects. He’s Author of more than 130 publications, many of them on topics related to economic law, Company law and Contracts and Banking and Financial Contracts Law. Since 2006, he has been a member of the Board of Directors of the Italian Society of Civil Law Scholars, coordinator of the 'Economy Law' Commission.
He is co-editor of numerous series and journals - including 'Rivista di Diritto Bancario' and 'Diritto del mercato assicurativo e finanziario' - as well as a member of the Board of Directors or Scientific Board of journals, including 'Giustizia civile', 'Rivista di diritto commerciale e delle obbligazioni', 'Contratto e Impresa Europa' and 'Rivista di diritto dell'impresa'.
From 2016 to 2020, he was a Member of the Arbitrator for Financial Disputes (ACF) established by CONSOB (National Commission for Companies and Stock Exchange).
For the years 2016-2018, he was a Member of the Technical Commission established at the Superior Council of the Magistracy for the evaluation of the "scientific capacity and analysis of rules" of ordinary judges for selection of members of the Supreme Court as well as the selection of the Supreme Court of Cassation Councillors for "outstanding merits" under Article 106 of the Constitution.
He is a registered Arbitrator with the Arbitration Panel for public contracts set up by ANAC (National Authority for Anti-Corruption). A lawyer, enrolled in the special list of University Professors, he is currently Of Counsel to the law firm DDPV. Over the years, he has carried out a significant part of his activity in the fields of Contract Law, in particular Banking and Financial Law, Company Law and Public Contracts.
He has been a member of the Issuer's Board of Directors since 18 May 2020 and is Chairman of the Remuneration Committee and member of the Risk and Sustainability Committee.
