Olga Cuccurullo has been a member of the Board of Directors of Banca Monte dei Paschi di Siena since May 2020, where she is also a member of the Risk and Sustainability Committee.
After graduating in Law from the University of La Sapienza in Rome, she obtained a Master's degree in Intermediaries, Issuers and Financial Markets from the same University.
She practiced law until April 2003, when she was hired as a lawyer of the Legal Department of the Cassa Nazionale di Previdenza ed Assistenza Forense. Subsequently, she began her working and professional experience at the Ministry of Economy and Finance and, during her time there, handled the processes of corporatization, privatization and management of companies with shares listed on regulated markets, the monitoring, management and exercise of shareholder rights in shareholdings in the financial services, infrastructure and transport sectors, and the management, evaluation and disposal of State assets.
She is currently an Executive of the Ministry of Economy and Finance - Department of Treasury.
She has experience on the boards of directors and auditors of corporations operating in the sectors of shipbuilding, air transport assistance, securities production, higher education and research, financial services, IT, real estate, and foundations and has been part of the Advisory Committee of the "i3 Regione Lazio" mutual investement fund, the Supervisory Body pursuant to Legislative Decree 231/2001 of AMCO S.p.A., the Board of Statutory Auditors, which also acts as the Supervisory Body of Roma Convention Group S.p.A., and Supervisory Body pursuant to Legislative Decree 231/2001 of Lazio Innova S.p.A.
