Siena, 9 November 2018 – Banca Monte dei Paschi di Siena S.p.A. (“BMPS” or the “Bank”) notifies that on the basis of the discussions taking place with a number of counterparties regarding the assessments of BMPS' IT platform, the Bank has decided to select WRM, with Oracle and TAS as technologic partners, as its sole current interlocutor with the purpose of further exploring whether the conditions exist to enable the parties to continue negotiations and possibly formalise a binding offer. The Bank would like to stress that no strategic decision has been taken in relation to the foregoing.
