Established the appointment Committee
Siena, 23 April 2026 – Today, the newly appointed Board of Directors of Banca Monte dei Paschi di Siena S.p.A. (the “Bank”) held its first meeting.
The Board of Directors resolved, inter alia:
- to elect:
- as Chairperson of the Board of Directors, Cesare Bisoni;
- as Deputy Chairpersons of the Board of Directors, Carlo Corradini and Flavia Mazzarella, the latter as Acting Deputy Chairperson;
- to appoint Luigi Lovaglio, as Chief Executive Officer and General Manager of the Bank, granting him the relevant powers, in continuity with the governance framework of the previous Board of Directors;
- to establish the Appointment Committee, appointing the following Directors as members thereof:
- Patrizia Albano (Chairperson), Massimo Di Carlo, Paola Leoni Borali and Flavia Mazzarella.
The other Board Committees shall be established at the next meeting of the Board of Directors.
