BANCA MPS: NEW COMPOSITION OF INTERNAL BOARD COMMITTEES
Siena, 14 December 2023. The Board of Directors of Banca Monte dei Paschi di Siena S.p.A. (the “Bank”), which met today under the chairmanship of Nicola Maione, has appointed the following independent Directors as new members of the Risk and Sustainability Committee and the Compensation Committee, following the resignation of Marco Giorgino:
- for the Risk and Sustainability Committee, Laura Martiniello, who simultaneously ceases to be a member of the Compensation Committee, and
- for the Compensation Committee, Paola De Martini and Lucia Foti Belligambi.
The Risk and Sustainability Committee today appointed the independent director Alessandra Giuseppina Barzaghi - already a member of the same Committee - as its Chairperson, replacing Marco Giorgino.
Preliminary activities aimed at evaluating the integration of the Board of Directors are in progress.
