Siena, 13 November 2023 - Banca Monte dei Paschi di Siena S.p.A. (the “Bank”) announces that Prof. Marco Giorgino has today resigned from his position as Director of the Bank with immediate effect, as this role is not compatible with the position of Director of Mediobanca, that he has accepted to hold.

The Board of Directors, the Board of Statutory Auditors and the entire management would like to thank Prof. Giorgino, also as Chairperson of the Risk and Sustainability Committee, for his important and effective contribution to the Bank’s complex turnaround process over the past few years.
