Siena, 30 November - Further to our press release of 4 November 2021 and in
compliance with the information required by Consob pursuant to Article 114, paragraph 5 of Italian Legislative Decree no. 58/98, Banca Monte dei Paschi di Siena S.p.A. (the “Bank”) informs that, contacts have been initiated with the Ministry of Economy and Finance, in order to restart discussions with DG COMP (Directorate-General for Competition).
