Siena, 5 September – Banca Monte dei Paschi S.p.A. informs that the European Central Bank has approved, for the aspects falling under its competence, the capital strengthening transaction that will be submitted to the shareholders’ meeting on 15 September 2022. This approval is in addition to the completion of the authorization process by DG Competition, as communicated by the same authority in the previous weeks.
