Consob approves the Supplement to the Registration Document and acknowledges the Supplement to the Offer Document

Siena, 17 November 2017 - Banca Monte dei Paschi di Siena S.p.A. (“BMPS”) announces that today Consob approved the supplement to the registration document concerning BMPS filed with Consob on 24 October 2017, following notification of approval issued on 24 October 2017, protocol no. 0119730/17 (the “Supplement to the Registration Document”).

Today Consob also acknowledged the supplement to the offer document concerning the voluntary public offering for exchange and settlement filed with Consob following notification of approval no. 20166 of 24 October 2017 (the “Supplement to the Offer Document” and, jointly with the Supplement to the Registration Document, the “Supplements”).

Pursuant to Article 95-bis, paragraph 2, of Italian Decree no. 58/98, investors who have already subscribed to the Public Offering for Exchange and Settlement before the publication of the Supplements, shall have the right to withdraw their subscription within two business days following such publication (i.e. by 21 November 2017 included).

The Offering Period of the voluntary public offering for exchange and settlement will end at 4.30pm of 20 November 2017.

The hardcopy of the Supplements shall be available free of charge upon request at the registered office of Banca Monte dei Paschi di Siena S.p.A. (in Siena, Piazza Salimbeni n. 3). Banca Monte dei Paschi di Siena S.p.A.  shall make the Supplements available also on its website www.gruppomps.it.
