BMPS RECEIVES ECB’S FINAL DECISION ON PLANNED PARTIAL DEMERGER IN FAVOUR OF AMCO

Siena, 2 September 2020 – Banca Monte dei Paschi di Siena S.p.A. (hereinafter "the Bank" or "BMPS") received today the European Central Bank’s Final Decision regarding the project for the non-proportional partial demerger with asymmetric option, of a compendium consisting, inter alia, of non-performing exposures, from BMPS in favour of AMCO – Asset Management Company S.p.A..

The Final Decision confirms the Draft Decision received by the Bank on 27 August 2020.
