Banca MPS's extraordinary and ordinary shareholders' meeting of 27-28-30 december 2013: questions prior to the shareholders' meeting submitted by the sharholder, Fondazione Monte dei Paschi di Siena, under ART. 127 TER of legislative decree NO. 58/1

With its letter of 23 December, the Monte dei Paschi di Siena Foundation, in its capacity as shareholder of Banca Monte dei Paschi di Siena S.p.A., submitted questions prior to the Shareholders' Meeting, pursuant to art 127 ter of Legislative Decree no. 58 of 24 February 1998 as amended (the Consolidated Law on Finance), with regard to item 1 on the Extraordinary Meeting agenda concerning the share capital increase.

In this regard, it is noted that the questions and related response by the Bank have been made available to the public today under the terms of regulations in force.
