Banca MPS: Moody’s places the Bank’s main ratings under review for upgrade

Siena, 21 July 2020 – Banca Monte Paschi di Siena (“the Bank”) announces that Moody’s Investors Service rating agency (“Moody’s”) has placed the Bank’s “b3” standalone Baseline Credit Assessment and long-term ratings (including the “Caa1” long-term senior unsecured rating and “B1” long-term bank deposits rating) under review for upgrade.

The long-term outlook was changed from “Developing” to “Rating under Review”.
