Banca Monte dei Paschi di Siena S.p.A. and AXA MPS Assicurazioni Vita S.p.A.sign an agreement about the sale of 100% of Quadrifoglio Vita S.p.A's share capital
As per an agreement signed today, Banca Monte dei Paschi di Siena S.p.A. will sell No. 31,500,000.00 ordinary shares (nominal value: EUR 1.00 each) of Quadrifoglio Vita S.p.A. to AXA MPS Assicurazioni Vita S.p.A. at a price of EUR 141,500,000, equivalent to approximately the embedded value of the portfolio. The shares about to be sold account for 100% of Quadrifoglio Vita’s share capital.
The sale is subject to the granting of the necessary authorizations by the relevant regulatory authorities.
The transactions required to actually transfer the stake will be carried out as soon as said authorizations have been granted.
The sale agreement is part of the asset disposal scheme of the MPS Group described in the 2008-2011 Business Plan
