Banca Monte dei Paschi: Paola Serpi appointed to the board of statutory auditors

Siena – Banca Monte dei Paschi di Siena announces that, pursuant to the Articles of Association and further to Mr. Leonardo Pizzichi's resignation, Ms. Paola Serpi -Alternate Auditor elected in the same list as Mr. Pizzichi – will be replacing the outgoing auditor in the Board of Statutory Auditors. It is noted that the list was submitted by the Monte dei Paschi di Siena Foundation on occasion of the Shareholders' Meeting of 29 April 2009 which appointed the corporate bodies.
