Parmalat interest sold

As part of the process of streamlining minority investments, Banca Monte dei Paschi di Siena sold its interest in Parmalat S.p.A. (9,102,249 shares) on the blocks market today. The stake in Parmalat had been received as a result of the arrangement with creditors approved while the Parmalat Group was under extraordinary administration.
