Francesca Paramico Renzulli

Francesca Paramico Renzulli has been an independent Director of Banca Monte dei Paschi since 2024 and currently serves as a member of the Appointments Committee and the IT and Digitalisation Committee.

She holds a Law Degree from the University of Naples Federico II and a Master of Laws (LLM) from the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE). 

From 1999 to 2014, she gained experience primarily in international law firms, working in the London office of Clifford Chance and the Milan offices of Clifford Chance, White & Case and Linklaters, focusing mainly on regulatory matters and capital markets.

From 2014 to 2018, she served as General Counsel of the Anima Group and Secretary of the Board of Directors of Anima Holding. 

From 2018 to 2021, she was Head of Corporate and Regulatory Affairs at Nexi and later took on the role of Head of Group Corporate Governance from 2021 to September 2024. She was also Secretary of the Board of Directors and of the Strategic Committee of Nexi S.p.A.. 

Since September 2024, she has been General Counsel and Secretary of the Board of Directors of Prima Assicurazioni S.p.A..

She has been a non-executive Director of Anima Holding S.p.A., Anima SGR S.p.A., Nets Denmark A.S. and Nexi Payments S.p.A. (where she was also a member of the Control and Risk Committee), Chairperson of the Board of Directors of SIAPay S.r.l. and Numera S.p.A. and a member of the Supervisory Board of Rementi, a Polish company.   

From 2021 to 5 February 2025, she was a non-executive and independent Director, a member of the Controls, Risk and Sustainability Committee and Chairperson of the 231 Supervisory Body 231 (231 SB) of Intermonte Partners SIM S.p.A..
