Banca Mps: Fitch Ratings assigns long-term deposit rating

Banca Monte Paschi di Siena (BMPS) announces that Fitch Ratings has assigned it a B (stable) Long-Term Deposit Rating, in line with its Long-Term IDR (Issuer Default Rating).

This rating action is a consequence of the full depositor preference rule, introduced in Italy on
1 January 2019 with Law Decree no. 181/2015, which transposed the Bank Recovery and Resolution Directive (BRRD) into national legislation.
